odakmarket exists because the tools for selling online grew complicated faster than the people using them asked for.
Most commerce platforms started simple and then spent a decade adding surface: settings, tiers, an app marketplace, a partner ecosystem. Each addition made sense on its own. Together they turned a shop into an IT project.
What we are trying to do
Give someone with products and no technical background a working shop in one sitting. That single sentence decides everything: which features ship in the plan, what the panel looks like, and what we refuse to build. If a feature would make the first twenty minutes harder, it does not go in.
Why everything is included
An app store is a good business model and a bad experience. It moves the real price out of the plan and into a dozen small subscriptions you discover one at a time. We would rather charge one honest number and give you the whole toolkit, even if that means a simpler catalogue of features than the biggest platforms advertise.
How we make money
From the monthly plan, and only from that. We take no percentage of your sales, we do not sell placement inside the product, and we do not resell your data. When you connect a card processor, its fees go to it and its payouts come to you — we never sit in between.
What we are not
We are not an agency and there is no done-for-you tier. Nobody builds your shop for you, because the whole point is that you can. If you want a bespoke build with custom code, a good freelancer will serve you better than we would.
